A watch enthusiast blog dedicated to exploring timepieces, craftsmanship, and horological culture. From vintage classics to modern marvels, we celebrate the art of watchmaking.

I’m Viktor, and I’ve been wearing watches for longer than I’ve been thinking seriously about them.

I work as a mechanical engineer, which means I spend most days with CAD models, tolerances, and trying to make things that actually work in the real world. Watches became my escape - something mechanical I could appreciate without having to optimize or troubleshoot. Just wind it, wear it, and let someone else worry about the engineering.

This blog exists because I got tired of reading the same hype on every forum. Grail piece. Absolute stunner. Punches above its weight. I’m not here to sell you anything or build a YouTube empire. I just want to write about what works, what doesn’t, and why a 38mm field watch with good lume is better than most people think.

Expect honest opinions, some technical details when they matter, and the occasional complaint about lug-to-lug measurements. I’m based somewhere in Central Europe, I wear my watches daily, and I have no problem saying when something is overpriced or overhyped.

If that sounds useful, stick around.
